Incentives for Arizona residents vary by County, Utility, and City.  If you do not see information for your area, give us a call and we will answer you specific questions.

Mohave Electric Cooperative customers are eligible for the following incentives and rebates:

•      30% Federal Tax Credit
•      $1000 AZ State Rebate
•      No state sales tax charged on system equipment
•      MEC Rebate = $4.00 per watt installed up to a maximum of $12,000.  See example below.

Example:  Average size house may require a 4 kilowatt (KW) system priced at $36,000.

•           Federal Tax Credit  = $10,800
•           AZ State Rebate = $1,000
•           Minus State Sales Tax = $2,610
•           MEC Rebate = $12,000

          10,800+1000+2610+12,000=26,410 Total Incentives

          Cost $36,000 - Total Incentives $26,410 = $9,590 Cost after incentives

This system will pay for itself in approximately 4 years.
